Chimp Eden & The Botanical Gardens
Spend the morning visiting the stunning Lowveld National Botanical Gardens; its magical waterfalls, spectacular rainforest and strolling among the myriad of spectacular trees and shrubs, most of which are endemic to our region here in the South African Lowveld.
After a light refreshment stop we will take you to visit Dr Jane Goodall’s Chimp Eden, the only Chimpanzee haven in South Africa and enjoy the ‘company’ of some of our closest relatives whilst learning about these incredible primates.

Barberton Makhonjawa Geotrail
Let us take you back in time along the Makhonjawa Geotrail. This particular area is the oldest, most well preserved sequence of volcanic and sedimentary rocks on earth, estimated to be between 3.2 and 3.5 billion years old.
The mountain range’s extreme age and exceptional preservation have yielded some of the oldest undisputed signs of life on Earth which have led to the area being known as the ‘Genesis of life’. Discover incredible panoramas and breath-taking vistas as we follow this incredible Geotrail.

Sudwala Caves & Kaapsehoop
The Sudwala Caves, are situated very close to Nelspruit (Mpumalanga) and are assumed to be at least 2,000 million years old! View the ancient stalactites and stalagmites during a caving experience with us.
Later in the afternoon we travel through to the impressive Montrose Falls and then onto our final destination of Kaapsehoop where wild horses roam freely in the hills and surrounding area. Here you may enjoy an afternoon’s sightseeing, shopping or visit the curious Adam’s Calendar an ancient stone circle.

The Panorama-Route
